Geoff Connor received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1988. He subsequently became Board Certified in Administrative Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1995 and has maintained that special certification. He practiced with Akin Gump and with Jackson Walker before forming his own firm, Connor and Demond, PLLC (www.connordemond.com), where he practices administrative, state regulatory, environmental and immigration law. He is experienced in environmental permitting work, licensure and permitting from state agencies, defense of enforcement actions, agency rulemaking and related areas. He has handled a variety of immigration law cases successfully representing people in various stages of the immigration process including detention and removal situations. The firm also handles business litigation, wills and probate and tort claims with a particular expertise in Internet defamation issues.
Connor is a member of the State Bar of Texas and many of its sections including Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Government Lawyers, International Law, and Immigration and Nationality Law. He was previously a board member for the Agricultural Law Section and the Government and Public Law Section. He is also a member of the Bastrop County Bar Association and the Christian Legal Society.
